A member of the men’s fencing team lunges in a bout against Brandeis Jan. 19 at Payne Whitney Gymnasium. The Elis ended what has been a trying season with a fifth place finish at this weekend’s Intercollegiate Fencing Association Championships in Providence, R.I. Also competing at IFAs, the women’s team took fifth and the coed team came in fourth.
