More Elis could opt to go abroad
Edwards: Increase in international students would prompt peers to pursue studies overseas
If Yale goes ahead with the proposed addition of two new residential colleges, the increase in the size of the student body and the physical isolation of the new colleges could prompt a larger percentage of students to study abroad during the academic year.

Rimaykullayki means hello
It's good to know that Yale is pushing for more global awareness for it's students. Studying abroad is a refresher for anyone who had lived most of his life comfortably. It makes one re-orient one's view of the world beyond and become a better person by the experiences and surprises that he sees in other countries. I'm speaking from personal experience.
If you're not sure of what to do as this is your first time going abroad, consult your University Study Abroad Office. For me, I made my options by Googling on other study abroad programs. I found GoAbroad.com's Study Abroad Directory (http://www.studyabroaddirectory.com) and it lists a comprehensive list of study abroad programs. Not only that, they do have testimonials of previous program participants (look for the "light blue speaking logo" beside the listing). Study Abroad Provider's credibility is also included(look for the "check, check+ or check++" green logo). You may also read their advice regarding "studying abroad" http://www.studyabroaddirectory.com/study-article.cfm. It's a nice read and very informative.
