TD dining hall will limit lunchtime access, possibly to keep out DS students
Timothy Dwight College has restricted a portion of its lunches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons to exclude students not in TD — possibly in order to prevent a space crunch resulting from an infusion of Directed Studies students from the nearby Whitney Humanities Center, several students speculated.

Commons fare: Getting beyond General Tso’s
What about how Silliman is jam-packed for lunch EVERY SINGLE DAY because of people who don't want to go to Commons, not to mention lots of professors? It may be the largest college dining hall, but at peak times the line to get in stretches almost all the way back to the Common Room, the line to get food stretches back to the entrance, and it's nearly impossible to find two adjacent empty seats so you can chat with at least one friend.
