Sociology Dept. to look for new home if colleges built

Undergraduates anxious to sign leases or begin room draws for next year are not the only ones at Yale with housing worries. As of right now, there are no definite plans for the Sociology Department’s future permanent home if its current one is knocked down to make room for two new residential colleges.

How did a top research university almost scrap a sociology department in 1992? Thank god Yale is no longer living in the late 80s/early 90s. Get rid of the philosophy department if anything

What about the buildings Sociology and Forestry now occupy? More sacrifices of architecture to the new colleges? Put sociology at Science Park, closer to thier target audience.
