Edmonton, Alberta: doesn’t sound like a prime spot for the coolest afterparties. However, Cadence Weapon’s new album, “Afterparty Babies,” tries to change that conception.

Interesting take, but this album is hilariously over your head. The "capitalist lyrics" part made me laugh the hardest. The bit about Cadence Weapon trying to "create a dance music scene" was great too. About two seconds worth of research would have given you some much-needed insight into the context and politics of this album.

Please get a clue.
