Do we REALLY need a six figure chief of security for an almost empty collection of buildings? And one who stood by and knew nothing about his tarnished department and officers? There is a police chief and a seperate director of security at Yale already. I think New Haven's being paid back and soon you'll see Ortiz as overall director of security and Police at Yale. What a nice thing that will be, when do we get all the NHPD leftovers who will undoubtedly follow him?

Wouldn't his salary be better spent on security in New Haven? I didn't know Yale had senior directors.
