Brief: Paterson rejects Broadwater project, Conn. officials respond favorably

New York Gov. David Paterson rejected Wednesday night the Broadwater project, a controversial liquefied-natural-gas terminal that Broadwater Energy sought to build in the Long Island Sound, the New Haven Register reported on Thursday.

Great victory , this was a shell pil deal. will never forget that nyc councilmember jim gennarro tried to et a resolution to support this.

It was supposed to be built right across from the Thimble Islands - the ones bought by that mysterious New York developer and/or Daughter of one.She owns all of them now.Maybe so no-one is left to protest the deal.

who knows maybe they never gave a crap about it.
