The Alley Cats matter.

Why does the senior all-female group, Whim 'n Rhythm, get left out? They tapped their new members at the exact same time as the Whiffs.

I want to hear the results for whim 'n rhythm. They are usually tapped on the same night as the whiffenpoofs. Please update!

no seriously, what about whim? lame.

Agreed. Part of the reason why people don't know what Whim 'n Rhythm is and everyone knows what the Whiffenpoofs are is because publications like the YDN choose to cover the Whiffenpoofs and not Whim 'n Rhythm despite the fact that both groups function as the senior singing group and they are frequently seen in conjunction on campus. Wednesday, both groups were tapping new members in exactly the same place at exactly the same time, and the YDN chose to print a cross campus story as well as two large stand-alone photos the next day exclusively mentioning the Whiffenpoofs. The women of Whim 'n Rhythm 2010 deserve a mention just as much as the new Whiffenpoofs. Please, YDN, make an effort to do unbiased reporting.
