Welcoming, belatedly, the new members of Whim 'n Rhythm

The Whiffenpoofs were not the only singing group to announce their new members on Wednesday night.  Their female counterpart, the a capella group Whim 'n Rhythm, also tapped their new class on Wednesday evening, as many, many less-than-pleased commenters have informed us over the past few days

With all due respect (really), Whim 'n' Rhythm are not the female counterpart of the Whiffenpoofs. The Whiffenpoofs have no counterpart. The Whiffenpoofs are an institution of international and historical proportions. I can go on and on. Just because there is a senior female a cappella group on campus does not put it in the same category as the Whiffs. Let's not let political correctness blind us of reality.

"Danielle," Whim sounds much better than the Whiffs this year. History does not guarantee superiority. With all due respect (really), you don't know what you're talking about.
