Two science professors receive tenure
A committee voted to grant tenure to two science professors Thursday afternoon, bringing the total number of tenure appointments this year to nine. Eight of these have been in the sciences or social sciences.
Richard Yang (left), an associate professor of computer science, and Jun Korenaga (right), an associate professor of geology and geophysics, received tenure at a meeting of the Board of Permanent Officers, a body composed of the full professors in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Korenaga became a full professor, while Yang will retain his title of associate...
Why is Yale giving tenure to all these science professors? What about the humanities professors?
I had an incredible professor who is very passionate about his field, he is a dynamic professor who teaches really well and he is not getting tenured.
Why?
I learned so much from this professor and his class was absolutely amazing.
Dear Divya Subrahmanyam, Richard Yang, Jun Korenaga, Teachers, Students, Readers, and Colleagues,
Watching the leader live on channel one the entire time would ensure the country is lead by a person who ensures law. Politicians and people are asked one question, do you want to live in a society that is lead by a person who ensures law or one that doesn't? I wrote a new form of government called civilocity that ensures law. There are two sides and you have to pick one. Do you want to live in a society that is lead by a person who ensures law or one that doesn't? What or who is stopping this from being accomplished? Civilocity is the greatest idea ever introduced in politics. I hope you have the people's best interest. Civilocity ensures the leader isn't usurping the power of the country for themselves at the expense of the people. This will distinguish a country as having the most intelligent government.
Would you rather vote between two people and one wins to lead you or watch the leader the entire time they are in office to ensure law? Having a human with law would be more intelligent than picking a monkey without. That's democracy verse civilocity. What if you could put them both together? All I know is there have been to many leaders appointed by the people who have taken part in unlawful action leading to over 100 million lives in the last century alone.
A person might say civilocity doesn’t ensure law and I would say yes it does. Haven’t you learned to add? Haven't your reached that philosophy? Add a camera we have great technology today. This philosophy won’t stop until it is accomplished. Do you think there is a cover up that the USA government tried to kill me that I must tell you about civilocity directly instead of the news agencies on tv or your local newspapers? Civilocity was created and copyrighted in 2007. Do you think civilocity is something to be taught to all the students? Civilocity will be taught and the government’s actions will as well even after they are held accountable. When will they be accountable in their lifetime or their children's?
My army is going to sweep through every country so fast lead by every one of your generals fighting for one thing a leader who ensures law verse a leader who doesn’t

Civilocity
imagine that billboard and you politicians all have pens what do you use pens for you could have signed civilocity into affect 2 years ago and saved a life
Yale is giving tenure to "all these science professors" because they deserve it. Of the recent recipients, the ones I've had were both great teachers and great researchers.
who in the humanities has been granted tenure by the university this year? Why are all the great, young professors, who do not teach science but are essential to the philosophy of this school and its foundation in the liberal arts, let go?
