Baseball game versus Iona cancelled, will not be replayed

Wednesday's baseball game against Iona College was cancelled because of the inclement weather. The non-conference game will not be rescheduled.
The Bulldogs (9-13, 1-3 Ivy) were set to face the Gaels (9-10), but instead will wait until Saturday for their next game.
The Elis play their first Ivy League home games of the season this weekend, hosting double-headers against the University of Pennsylvania (14-10, 6-2 Ivy) Saturday, which has the most wins in the Ivy League, and Columbia University (12-15, 4-4 Ivy) Sunday.
Senior Steve Glass leads the Quakers. The Ivy League Player of the Week, Glass batted .478 last weekend in double-headers against Harvard University (7-11, 2-2 Ivy) and Dartmouth (6-11, 0-4 Ivy).
Dave Fortenbaugh '03 has set the tone at the plate this season, leading the Bulldogs with a .417 batting average.
Yale is coming off of a 1-3 start to its Ivy League season after four games last weekend, splitting a double-header against Cornell (8-9, 2-2 Ivy) and dropping two games to Princeton (10-15, 3-1 Ivy). Two of the Elis' three losses were in extra innings.
The Bulldogs are in third place in the Red Rolfe Division, one of the Ivy League's two divisions for baseball.
