In a Jan. 22 article about Empower New Haven, the Finance Committee is incorrectly identified as the Financial Committee. Aldermen Kroogman and Avila were incorrectly identified as sponsors of the legislation; the legislation was actually submitted by the Department of Economic Development and reviewed and approved by the Joint Community Development and Human Services Committee, which Kroogman and Avila co-chair.
