In yesterday's article "Yale opposes Applera in suit," the scientific nature of the fluorophores developed by David Ward was incorrectly described. They are fluorescent and bind to nucleotide bases in DNA.
In yesterday's article, "Student is robbed at gunpoint," the last name of the victim was misspelled. The student's name is Christopher McLaughry '07. The News sincerely regrets the error.
