Thursday's Magazine article "The Unusual Suspect" incorrectly stated the date James Van de Velde arrived at Yale. He arrived in 1978. It also incorrectly stated the manner in which David Cameron met Van de Velde as well as Cameron's position at the time. Van de Velde took Cameron's introductory course his sophomore year when Cameron was an assistant professor.
