Briefly: ONSHA’s Alexander to host city discussion on Yale expansion

Vice President of New Haven and State Affairs and Campus Development Bruce Alexander ’65 will keynote a discussion on town-gown affairs at the Greater New Haven NAACP’s monthly meeting Thursday night. At St. Luke’s Church, he will explain how Science Hill and residential college expansion will affect businesses and neighbors. Last week, the Board of Aldermen approved a clarification in the 2006 Yale development agreement to give ownership of a sliver of land where the residential colleges will lie to the University. The aldermanic move effectively removed a minor obstacle for the residential colleges plan.
