President Barack Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board — of which Yale Chief Investment Officer David Swensen is a member — has yet to hold a formal meeting, The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday. The group, headed by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, was created in early February to offer Obama an outside perspective on how the government should revive the economy. “The whole organizational side of this has been a nightmare,” Volcker told the Journal. A White House spokeswoman told the Journal that the group will hold its first quarterly meeting in mid-May.
