THE NEWS

  • Indie alternative rock band The Decemberists and singer-songwriter Colin Munroe will perform at Spring Fling alongside N.E.R.D., Wale and Girl Talk, Yale College Council representatives announced last night. The five-act show will be longer than previous Spring Fling performances.

  • Voting for the YCC election closes at 9 p.m. this evening.

  • An early contract agreement for Yale’s two labor unions, Locals 34 and 35, will be put to a ratification vote this evening. Look out for more coverage tomorrow.

    • THE WEATHER

    High of 53 degrees, low of 40 degrees, mostly cloudy

    THE FOOD

    Lunch: Northern Thai chicken curry and pad Thai in the colleges; Santa Fe chicken stew, trattoria burger and sweet & sour shrimp in Commons

    Dinner: Eggplant parmesan, roasted chicken with spice rub and Szechuan beef stir fry in the colleges; chicken souvlaki and spinach falafel patties in Commons
