Is the storm of the semester foiling your plans to get home for the holidays? Tell us your story by posting a comment below, and we'll tell you what the University is doing to help stranded students as soon as there's word. Check back for updates.
UPDATE: Sunday, Dec. 20. Masters and deans from Branford, Saybrook, Davenport and other residential colleges have e-mailed students, offering to make arrangements for those still in New Haven to stay at the Courtyard Marriott or to be let back into their dorms.

My flight out of JFK tomorrow afternoon got cancelled. Luckily I have somewhere to spend the night in New York, but will the dorms stay open for other people who are snowed in?

Master Pitti emailed all Stilesians with an offer to pay for a night or two in the Courtyard Marriott if we get stranded. I just want to get the hell out of here.

missed my plane on friday...and my saturday flight got canceled. now i could be hear until monday. FML.

Thanks to Yale Masters and Deans for support provided to Yale students stranded due to storm. My son had scheduled to leave New Haven on Sunday Dec. 20 , and those plans have been scratched and rescheduled to fly out on Wed. December 23. It is very important, and somehow reassuring to parents and relatives in general to know that Yale Institutional Leaders do care and support its students. txs.

Master Smith said we could stay in the college. However, we don't regain swipe access until at least Monday, which means we have to call security every time we want to get in until then...

my flight out of EWR got canceled, with no word on when i'll be rescheduled. i could crash in NYC, but i don't want to leave yale until i know when i'm flying out.
