Clark released after complying with warrants

Raymond Clark III, the person of interest named in the investigation into the murder of Annie Le GRD '13, was released from custody at 3 a.m. after complying with the two search warrants served last night, New Haven Police Department spokesman Joe Avery said.

Avery said he does not know Clark's current whereabouts.

The warrants, to search Clark's house and take DNA samples, have been sealed and are not publicly available, State's Attorney Michael Dearington said, because their release could compromise an ongoing investigation.

"This goes on all over the country, there's nothing unusual about it," he said. "It's as commonly accepted as the validity of the U.S. Constitution."

This guy is a huge flight risk.

This reminds me of the Craig's List killer - clean cut guy Philip Markoff who murdered two women.

It would be a blessing for this scum to kill himself - would save taxpayers millions and bring instant closure for all.

I am wondering if Clark's fiancee was working the same shift he was when Annie was killed. Seems that she might be a person of interest too.

Not just a huge flight risk, but a huge suicide risk. If the latter occurs, many important answers could go unasked and unanswered leaving a eternal void of,"How" and "Why"
