Briefly: Three teenagers sustain wounds in late-night Friday shoot-out

Approximately 16 shots were fired behind the Hill Central School on Dewitt Street at 12:15 a.m. Saturday, where a small crowd of youths had been gathered, the New Haven Register reported yesterday. The shots hit three teenagers; all are expected to survive. The report stated that three hooded gunmen shot a male and a female, both in their late teens, in their legs, as well as a 17-year-old female in the neck. Police reported that they recovered two handguns from the scene, according to the Register.
