Just two weeks shy of Spring Fling, two campus groups are raising concerns about one of the openers, the Ying Yang Twins — a band whose lyrics they say are misognystic.

This past weekend in New Haven was marred by a three-murder crime spree that has left the city reeling from sustained gun violence. Now, city officials and community leaders are pushing for an intensified effort to stem the bloodshed.
