Powder House Day: On April 22, 1775, the Governor’s Foot Guard, under the command of Benedict Arnold, demanded the key to the powder house so they could join the fight against the British. On Saturday, reenactors dressed in red uniforms marched to City Hall as part of the city’s 225th Powder House Day celebration.
