Wednesday, December 22, 2010
Another Ivy League drug bust! Cornell senior Keri Blakinger, 26, was arrested Sunday by the Ithaca Police Department for possession of nearly six ounces — more than $150,000 worth — of heroin. The seizure was one of the largest in Ithaca Police Department History, the Cornell Daily Sun reported.
The Cornell arrest follows two other recent Ivy League drug busts. Five Columbia students were arrested on Dec. 7 for selling drugs on campus, and a Dartmouth freshman was arrested when Hanover police discovered narcotics in his room on Nov. 29.
