Operatic tenor Sam Tsui '11 — famous from his viral Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson medley YouTube videos and his stint in "That's Why I Chose Yale" — has accomplished the ultimate coup in his rise to international super-stardom: He'll be performing on "The Oprah Show."

What's with the new subtitles on That's why I chose Yale?? The best thing the video had going for it was its being very stunning visually. All one can do now is stare at the stupid words.

Honestly it's pretty disappointing that, as Yalies, the most noteworthy student news we can dig up on a regular basis is Sam Tsui's latest exploits.
