Sports commentators chastise Trinity squash player for 'verbal spraying'

A confrontation that occurred Sunday on Yale's squash courts between Kenneth Chan ’13 and Trinity's Baset Chaudry during the College Squash Association National Tournament is gaining some national attention.
In a segment on ESPN's SportCenter, commentator Merril Hoge described the altercation as "verbal spraying."
Sports blogger Dashiell Bennett chimed in on the controversy on Deadspin.com:
… what is wrong squash people anyway? Their fans are all hooligans and the star players are obnoxious brats. I thought this was a dignified game between gentlemen. When someone taunts him on the court, a gentleman turns the other cheek. Then uses his fraternity connections to orchestrate a hostile takeover of his opponent's commodities trading firm and outsources that guy's job to Thailand. You know, civilized like.
