Gluck a finalist for National Book Critics Circle award

Adjunct English Professor and Rosencranz Writer in Residence Louise Glück has been named a National Book Critics Circle Finalist, The New York Times reported yesterday. Glück's book of poetry "A Village Life" is up for the award.
The awards will be handed out at the New School in New York on March 11, the Times reported.
Glück taught Introduction to Verse Writing and Advanced Verse Writing in the fall.

This is wonderful news. Congratulations to Louise Glück for a prestigious nomination, and congratulations to Yale for having such extraordinary writers on their faculty! Her students must be so proud.
