R.I.P. Beauty and Justice (the bunnies)

In loving memory: Justine Kolata’s ’12 bunnies, the mascots and namesakes of her Movement for Beauty and Justice, have died. The first died of natural causes and the second of loneliness.

The only reason this organization exists in more than a couple of peoples' heads is because of an attractive publicity photo and someone in the YDN trying to kiss up to them.

I know Ric who is a wonderful person and the principal owner of the bunnies. He made his whole room into a bunny pen so they would have lots of space and be happy and later gave them to very caring friends. From what I heard the two saved them from owners who were not caring and they were old before they even got them. And from what I can tell the bunnies have nothing to do with the organization anyway just a personal pet of Ric's that graced some nice events that news papers loved blowing up. People might want to talk to the owners before making unfounded claims.

sad news but seriously people the bunnies had nothing to do with the organization, like actually look at what they are doing, social justice and culture project in public schools, homelessness awareness etc. Nothing about bunnies! Lets stop confusing personal rescued pet with real work.
