Berkeley Dining Hall employee killed in car accident

A Berkeley Dining Hall employee, was killed in a car accident early Friday morning.

According to a New Haven Police Department press release, both the driver of the car and the passenger, Berkeley employee David Gay, were announced dead at the scene after their vehicle struck a tree on Munson St. Officers began investigating the crash at 1:40 a.m. the report said.

Berkeley College Master Marvin Chun asked Berkeleyites in an e-mail to “please have [Gay’s] family and our staff in your prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.”
