That's just the tip of the iceberg- Jim was an accomplished actor , motivational speaker and fundraiser, too- in 1985 just after he graduated, he was run over by a new York city bus, losing a leg below the knee. He recovered, and went on to set world records in Ironman and the NYC marathon (as well as being a soap opera star!) During a triathlon in 1993 he was hit by another vehicle, which left him quadriplegic. Dig deeper and cover his amazing life- his is a truly inspirational story .
