Briefly: Knights of Columbus sues City Hall for $1 million in damages

The Knights of Columbus, the New Haven Catholic charity stronghold for over 125 years old, has sued New Haven for $1 million for building damage caused by the 18-second demolition of the former Veterans Memorial Coliseum two years ago, WTNH reported late Monday night. KOC officials told WTNH the city owes them reparations for shattered windows of the group’s headquarters and broken indoor exhibits during the January 2007 demolition.
