State to suffer from federal cuts

The F-22 Raptor is by far the most expensive military jet fighter in U.S. Air Force history. Now, after committing to ordering 183 of the nearly $140 million aircraft — down from an initial order of 750 jets — the Defense Department has had enough, a move that jeopardizes thousands of jobs in Connecticut and across the nation.

The US air superiority is without peer, by a lot. The F-22 is unnecessary and wasteful not only to produce but to maintain.

Connecticut is already going to be getting 2 new nuclear subs that we also hardly need.

Want don't you just ask for the cash and put the people on white collar welfare at their current pay, it would be cheaper for all concerned.
