I love Mike Jones. After all the hard work he's put into the campaign, he deserves it. And what's more, like a former alderman said in a YDN letter to the editor, the best alder will be the one that can form coalitions with the rest of the board. Mike can do that with Yalies, and he can do that in the NH political scene. Plus, the man can party.

Katie and Minh were great--wish them the best of luck in finding alternate routes to helping the community.

Don't you think he won because he's also African-American? That's mainly how Obama won, and it might make a huge difference for Mike.

To #5, Jones may have successfully ridden the Obama wave to victory. It definitely couldn't have hurt him.
