Student ‘Flyer Police’ enforce crackdown

Eighteen years ago, Yale was a different place. Advertisements and flyers broadcasting the events of the University’s hundreds of undergraduate organizations covered every available surface on campus, said Cyril May FES ’89, Program Coordinator for Yale Recycling.

When I was at Yale in the early 90s, I thought the posters were a beautiful sign of the vibrance and viewpoint diversity within the Yale community. It was a visible manifestation of the energy on campus. Today, everything is so shiny and sanitized. I'm glad I was here when substance mattered more than SUPERFICIAL aesthetics.
