Med. school to revise anti-sexual-harassment policies

Facing ongoing complaints of sexual harassment on campus, the Yale School of Medicine will continue to examine existing protocols and implement new procedures for addressing and eliminating incidents of sexual harassment and assault on campus, medical school Dean Robert Alpern said Wednesday.

Wow, YSOM must have terrible sexual harrassment policies in clinics for an attending to "inapporiately" touch a medical student. This would definitely deter my encouragement of students wanting to attending Yale. Hopefully, the SOM will publicly put out a sexual harrassment policy that befits the school's reputation. Clearly, with it's mediocre location, poor financial aid package, and dipping rankings, SOM needs to make some amends for such basic protection of medical students if it wants to attract the best students away from HMS or SMS.
