Two Elis are better than one, especially when one is former President George W. Bush ’68. Bush will be writing his memoir — regarding 12 tough decisions he has made — with the help of his former speechwriter Chris Michel ’03, a former editor in chief of the News. The memoir is scheduled for publication next year.

Wow. Really sad and pathetic to read this kind of partisan hackery in the YDN. This isn't the New York Times.

Good point, #1. If the News wasn't so encumbered by editorial regulation (which might as well be called class warfare), the market would be better able to manage the paper's objectivity. Let's invade some Middle Eastern student paper to set a good example.

For clarification, kickball will not count for any Tyng Cup points this year so it will not affect the standings. However, this is the first year that badminton will count for points.

Or it's possible he meant that it's even better BECAUSE one of them is George W. Bash, not in spite of that fact. Now we can interpret both sides of partisan hackery from the same statements! Yay!
