Briefly: Residents attacked in separate incidents
A New Haven resident was shot and another one was stabbed early Saturday morning. Around 2:30 a.m., a man and his cousin were walking on Dixwell Avenue when a black male, for whom the police are still looking, wearing a mask approached them and demanded the man’s property. According to New Haven Police spokesman Joe Avery, the robber displayed a silver revolver with a white handle and shot the victim twice.
