Arnold: Tran’s energy makes him a great leader
I am writing to wholeheartedly support Minh Tran ’09, who, in my opinion, would make an amazing alderman for Ward 1.
Minh has been a student intern in the New Haven Public Schools, where he forged connections between Worthington Hooker School, Yale and the city of New Haven in countless ways. He accomplished this task with grace, sensitivity and depth, bringing to each project his own work ethic, creative ideas and informed leadership. Minh clearly understands the challenges and opportunities embedded in our community and he has proven without doubt that he will deliver...
@#1 I agree. Isn't that a shame?
Where are all the Tran-bashing people on this article? What do they say now that more and more people are verifying Tran's qualifications?
Minh could still win. Don't rule him out yet.
A shame upon the Yale community if Tran loses this election.
Two things are very obvious to me from having followed the race for Ward 1 alderman as covered by the YDN: (1) Tran is obviously the most impressive candidate and the one who would do the most impressive job, and (2) Tran is not going to win.
