It is Marxism and not liberalism my friend, which is responsible for alot of the "changes" in society. "Conservatism" is just normal thinking. Alot of these "changes" have been forced on America, without regard to the consequences, which have often been devastating. Thus, yes you are right about the coming backlash through the cartridge box. The new conservatives will be dedicated racial patriots.
Changes...like desegregation, women's right, the expansion of the vote, etc...
Stinking changes, them minorities just couldn't stay happy with our change...
Even Pat Buchanan is saying there will be a huge backlash soon. How much more can people possibly take ? Egalitarianism and fannie mae have destroyed the US economy.

This is an interesting article on liberalism; however, I think the article would have been more interesting if mentioned a little about conservatism. I do not believe that the United States can have a long-lasting government that is strictly liberal, any more than it can have one that is strictly conservative. True, liberalism has had a much greater impact than conservatism in the United States -- and in many European countries -- during the past several decades, but liberalism needs to have some limitation. Perhaps the ideal government for America would be one that has a harmonious blend of these two ideologies, but with liberalism having about double the impact of conservatism!
