UCS reports surge in medical-school apps.

The number of Yalies applying to medical school this fall has increased since last fall, according to data compiled by Undergraduate Career Services.

There has been a 5 to 10 percent increase in the number of applications submitted so far this admissions cycle, relative to the same point in the process last year, UCS Director Philip Jones said.
