Obama, McCain sweep the Elm City, Yale 2.06.08
Connecticut broke with its Northeastern neighbors in the Democratic primary on Super Tuesday to support presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, who narrowly edged out Senator Hillary Clinton LAW ’73, 51 to 47 percent. In the Elm City, the Illinois senator dominated by a 2-1 margin.
On the Republican side, Arizona Senator John McCain triumphed throughout the Nutmeg State, including in New Haven, 52 to 33 percent.

At Quinnipiac University in Hamden, the political scene was subdued, while at Yale Law School, Clinton's alma mater status seemed not to be a major factor for voters.
