On March 25, The Princeton Review released survey results ranking the “Top 10 Dream Colleges” according to college applicants and their parents. Among high schoolers, Yale was ranked No. 6, behind Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, Princeton and — sad but true — New York University. Hey if it's any consolation - and just for the record: Yale DID outrank NYU as a "Dream College" among parents of college applicants Princeton Review surveyed this year. See the full "top 10 Dream Colleges" lists, the students' and the parents' at PrincetonReview.com). Maybe "Fathers (and Mothers) Know Best": On parent list: Yale finished #5 (up from #8 last year) while NYU came in #6 (down from #4 last year).

at this point i'm not that surprised. it's hard to romanticize the third circle of hell reality of life in new haven.

i'd just like to say that yale should clearly be moved to the # 1 spot. i mean, i went to choate.

i am michael wysolmerski. i think yale is number one because i am very smart. in fact, i went to boarding school. i love farnam!!! go farnam!!!
