Bulldogs easily paddle past Huskies at home
In the last home meet of the season, the Bulldogs sank their local opponents.
The men’s and women’s swim teams both defeated UConn on Saturday in a meet that honored the seniors in their career home finale. The men’s squad took first in 13 of the 16 events to win 199-99, and the women’s team won 164.5-133.5.
“It’s tough to come back after a big meet like HYP, but I thought we did a pretty good job of swimming just as fast, if not faster in a lot of cases,” said Tyler Scheid ’09, who finished first and second in a pair of butterfly events Saturday.
