Of all the talented lacrosse players in the nation, very few hail from the West Coast. But the men’s lacrosse team picked up a prize in Washington-native midfielder Gregory Mahony ’12. Mahoney is a two-time All-Ivy and All-New England selection.

Yale’s swimming teams kicked off Thanksgiving break with strong showings at the Boston Terrier Invitational Tournament from Nov. 18 to 20. Both teams improved on their standings from last year, when the men came in fourth and the women fifth, with first and third place finishes respectively. Tim Wise, head coach of the men’s team, said the victorious meet evidences the team’s growing strength this season.

Rosati ’12 reflects on championship season
Field hockey forward Mia Rosati ’12 scored 23 goals over her career, and she finished in Yale’s historical top 10 for career points gained through goals. She saw the team come agonizingly close to an Ivy title in 2009 and 2010, when Yale placed second, and helped the Elis finally clinch the title this year.
