Childhood cancer has social effects
While hair loss and frequent doctor’s visits can become painful memories for child cancer survivors, a recent study by two Yale researchers (one of whom has since left the University) shows that childhood cancer has quantifiable social consequences in the adult life of survivors.
Indignation delight
“The whole show can fit into an overhead compartment,” director Michael McQuilken says, referring to “A Day in Dignation,” a sketch opening this weekend at the Yale Cabaret. And indeed, the show’s physical bulk is limited to one short and skinny actor — Rex (Will Connolly) — and a projector loaded with a few CDs.
